TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Frame
Combination of pair of sheet metal profiles to size suitable for supporting significant radial loads and prepared for fastening by means of dowels (not included) to load-bearing masonry structure or insulated and protected metal structure.
Leaf
One-piece sash made of press-folded panels of galvanized steel sheet with programmed deformability mechanically coupled, where size requires, without bottom rebate. New MEV FIRUX® (patented) high-temperature resistant inner insulating pack.
FIRUX® type intumescent fire seal
Placed on the vertical sides of the frame, on the lower and upper heads of the sashes, and at the center stop.
Cold Smoke Gaskets Sa (optional)
NEW: Cold Smoke Sa gaskets placed on the frame profile (provided on the rebate in the case of the two-leaf; applied on the perimeter of the frame in the case of the pedestrian door).
NEW: Provided for the possibility of installing the Sa KIT, as an addition, at a later date.
Operation (Zero Move)
The environmental conditions, inside a road tunnel, are very different from those normally found in civil or industrial buildings.
Given the presence of strong fluid-dynamic actions and pressures, the SANSOTUN tunnel door cannot be equipped with the accessories required by the standard (present during testing): door closer, pre-selector, etc., which guarantee, in usual use, the correct self-closing of the subdivision element.
The accessories, which in custom accompany the door, subjected to the high stresses present in environments subject to fluid-dynamic currents systematically go into crisis becoming an aggravating factor in the door system and actually going to impair their function or sometimes prevent the proper operation and opening closing of the door.
Door leaves must always be accompanied in their opening and closing movement by an adequate number of operators with control of proper closing.
Stop the half-barrel doors in both the open and closed positions by observing the following procedure:
With the door closed – release the yoke, accompany the door to the extreme open position and then close the yoke again (observe the correct sequence of door movement).
With the door open – release the yoke and accompany the sash into closing respecting the correct sequence of sash movement. Once the sash has been brought to closure, tighten the yoke.
Locking bar
1 per leaf. Mechanical organ for clamping the sashes in the closed/opened position to counteract the fluid-dynamic forces.
Possibility of lockable carriage for restricted access to employees.
Floor-level striking/sill threshold
Grounded, driveway-mounted striker tube for even distribution of stresses on the bottom edge.
Pull handle
Bracket handle, standard, for better leverage and grip of the sash.
Hinges (patented)
3 per sash, ground to support large radial loads.
Applications
- On solid, load-bearing masonry or reinforced concrete wall.
- On beam or structure insulated and covered with plasterboard.
Finish
The doors are made of galvanized sheet metal and finished with an environmentally friendly, industrial-grade base coat of the highest quality epoxy resins, providing protection against corrosion from a wide range of aggressive agents, both acidic and non-acidic, in environments not directly exposed to the natural outdoor atmosphere. Standard color RAL 7035. A wide RAL and NCS range is available to order.
NEW: AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel execution (excluding the lower hinge adjustment grub screw).
Identification plate
Applied on the shell handle with the appropriate CE mark and with personalized polychrome CARD with identification data.
Accompanying documentation (CE marking)
