A glorious sunny spring day provided the backdrop yesterday for Max Mugelli’s victory at his home circuit in Race 2 of the PRO class of the Ferrari Challenge Europe Trofeo Pirelli

“After three consecutive podium finishes – two third places and one second place – Max Mugelli has climbed to the top step of the podium, securing his third victory in the Ferrari Challenge, his second at his home circuit in Scarperia. Starting from second on the grid in his class, the Italian took the lead, capitalising on a pit stop by pole-sitter Sergio Paulet, and then managed the lead until the chequered flag.”
